These dolls usually come in sets of 7. Before you sleep, you take one, tell him / her your worries, put under your pillow. The doll is supposed to work through the night while you sleep to take care of the worry. It's usually only one worry per doll, one doll per day, and try to use the same doll for each day of the week.
Losing one doll from a set usually voids the whole sack of dolls from the powers.
I don't know much else about them, but they're a pretty cool idea, methinks. A rasta fellow sold me the dolls, told me I should talk to them a lot, confide. Mine is the really basic type, colourful, made from beads, cardboard and funky thread and kept in a lil rasta looking woven bag. I can line up all 7 dolls on one side of my palm. I painted this in colour, but I think it looks better in sepia, so I changed it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
